Cooked Muffins

Krystina's recipe and directions, how to make her "Easy and Healthy Banana Muffins".

Rich in vitamins and minerals and providing a great source of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, they make a perfect quick and tasty snack!

Ingredients

3 - over ripe bananas
2 tablespoons - FSC Linseeds
2 tablespoons - organic coconut oil
2 cups - oats
1 teaspoon - bicarbonate of soda
1/4 cup of chopped mixed nuts
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon crushed cloves
1/2 cup raisins or chopped up dates
1 pinch of salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Lightly grease muffin tin or place in cupcake cups.
Mash up the bananas.
Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix it all together.
Pour into tin and bake for 15-20mins

These keep well for about 3days in the fridge or can be frozen once cooled and used as quick snack when needed. Even more delicious if sliced and toasted with some peanut butter.
