Weekly Tip: Healthy Peanut Butter Cups
If you have a love for healthy alternatives to your favourite chocolate bars - you will love these.
For the chocolate
- 1/2 cup raw cacao
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or stevia if you want a low sugar version)
- 1 pinch sea salt
For the peanut butter
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts (you can use almonds or hazelnuts)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
Alternatively you can use @pipandnut butter instead to save on time.
Melt the coconut oil in a pan and then add the rest of the ingredients. Keep stirring until it becomes a rich chocolate paste.
Add one table spoon to each silicon cup cake mould and then put in the fridge or freezer to set.
For the peanut butter : Add all ingredients to a Nutri bullet and blend until it forms a thick peanut butter paste.
Once the chocolate has set in the moulds add a teaspoon of peanut butter on top and spread it out. Add another tablespoon of chocolate and put back in the fridge to set for 30minutes
Once set remove from silicone moulds and enjoy!
