With what was one of the most memorable summers in the UK coming to an end it’s important to start thinking about adding a Vitamin D supplement into your daily routine.

Our bodies main source of Vitamin D comes from the sun (you can also get it from certain foods). With there being less sun around, supplementing with vitamin D in my opinion is a good idea.

Vitamin D is important for regulating the absorption of calcium and phosphorus - which keeps our bones and teeth healthy. It also supports a healthy immune system.

If you think you could be deficient in Vitamin D - see your GP. They can check your vitamin D levels by doing a blood test and then recommend the correct dosage to get your levels back up.
